Description
Created in homage to his grandfather who first created a blend of 50/50 Pinot Noir/Chardonnay back in 1944, this wine is everything you expect and want from the idea of a blend of these two noble grapes. Both rich and warm with lovely vertical Chardonnay driven freshness, it never loses the lateral tension and texture which lifts it even above the two individual expressions of the grapes. This is as good a blend as you could possibly imagine.
