Glenfiddich 18 Year Old Small Batch Reserve is matured for a minimum of eighteen years in a combination of American oak ex-bourbon barrels and European oak ex-Oloroso sherry butts at the Glenfiddich distillery in Dufftown, Speyside. The Small Batch Reserve designation reflects the selection of a limited number of casks — chosen by the Malt Master for their complementary character — that are married together in small batches to achieve consistency and complexity. The result is a rich, rounded Speyside single malt with notes of dried fruit, oak spice, dark toffee, and Oloroso sherry influence. Bottled at 40% ABV.

Glenfiddich Distillery was founded on Christmas Day 1887 by William Grant in Dufftown, Speyside, Scotland — a location chosen for its access to the Robbie Dhu spring water. The house has remained in the ownership of the William Grant & Sons family for five generations, making it one of the very few major Scotch whisky distilleries still in the hands of the family that founded it.
