Lovingly crafted by Dean Shaw, from a premium parcel of fruit from Central Otago. Dean Shaw has been making wine with grapes from more than a dozen different vineyards for 18 years, which makes him one of the most experienced winemakers in the region. Like many young winemakers, he travelled overseas during NZ winters to make wine in Champagne, Burgundy, Austria, and South Africa. He has won countless awards and its a privilege for him to put his name to such wine.
Limited intervention. Bright ruby red with deep aromas of sweet plum, light cherry cola & hints of toasty truffles. Light-medium bodied with soft, inviting raspberry, plum & vanilla flavours, a firm acid line, ultra-fine tannins & a long milk chocolate finish.
