Description
The 2023 season followed the exceptional 2022 with a generous, beautifully balanced crop. A mild winter and cool, rainy spring set the vines up for ideal growth. Summer brought alternating heat and rain, encouraging excellent ripening while preserving freshness. Harvest began early, on August 29, with precision and care as ripeness varied across plots. For the first time ever, picking paused at 2pm due to extreme heat — a sign of vintages to come.
Clay-limestone terroir. 9 ha 33 ares in the commune of Verze, divided into 5 parcels: lieux-dits Les Chenes, En Perret, Le Monté, Escolles and Les Muses.
