    • Description

The Parker Coonawarra Estate First Growth blend of cabernet sauvignon, petit Verdot and merlot is grown on a 17-hectare vineyard comprising predominately Reynell Selection colonial vine stock. The vineyard lies at the southern end of Coonawarra on traditional terra rossa over limestone soils. Bordelais vilification, followed by 18 to 20 months maturation in new (80-100%) and seasoned French oak, leads to a rich, voluminous wine with mocha, espresso and blackcurrant aromas, savoury new oak, and fine-grained tannins.
