The Lochranza Distillery, better known as Arran, is a distillery from the Hebridean Isle of Arran. Founded in 1995, this distillery has become an award winning producer over the last 30 years, famed for their clean, unadulterated spirits.
Intro to Arran is a vertical tasting, offering attendees the opportunity to be guided through the entire Arran range, starting at the easy-drinking 10 Year Old, and moving all the way up to the elegant 25 Year Old, an expression nearly as old as the distillery itself.
Guiding this tasting will be local Brand Ambassador Jimmy Shore.
For those looking to deepen their knowledge of Scotch Whisky, this is the perfect tasting to join in on. As we explore the history of whisky production on the Isle of Arran, there will be plenty to learn about Scotch production as a whole, from the influence of different barrel types, to nuances of each distillery's style of still.
