    Chateau Haut-Brisson

Situated in Saint-Émilion, Haut-Brisson was purchased by Peter Kwok in 1997. Kwok’s agenda was to elevate the quality of the estate’s output, and he immediately set about expanding the holding from 8 hectares to 12.77 hectares, introduced a small-production high-end offering from the best parcels and barrels, and moved to organic viticulture (certified in 2010).

The blend is 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc, and the vines are close to 30 years old. Today Château Haut-Brisson is managed by Kwok’s daughter Elaine.
