Sourced from the McMurtrie Family’s extraordinary and low-yielding old vines, just adjacent to the Salopian Inn, where Ross McMurtrie, Vigneron was born. Hand-tended vines, sorted bunch by bunch, naturally open fermented, with regular hand plunging and gentle pumping over to extract colour, flavour and tannin. Aged in some new but mainly 3- and 4-year-old French and Bulgarian oak barriques for 16 months.
