    Devil's Lair

Devil's Lair is fortunate to be able to tread its own path, unrestrained by tradition, with a sense of wisdom that comes from a strong bond with an ancient land. It’s the intuition of a talented team, the freedom to do things differently and the subtlety of the soils that makes Devil’s Lair wines respected for their great clarity, delicate fruit flavours and elegant structure. The name originates from one of Australia’s oldest historical sites situated in the southern Margaret River region, a cave and significant archaeological site that holds evidence of human life from nearly 50,000 years ago! Founded by Phil Sexton in the 1980’s, Devil’s Lair is now in the safe hands of senior winemaker Luke Skeer and viticulturist Simon Robertson. Joined by a talented team, the wines produced in this cool, maritime climate of Margaret River continue to draw inspiration from the land and history around them.
