    • Description

This 6-year-old grain whisky is like no other, thanks to its unconventional maturation process. First, it spends time in ex-Bourbon casks, soaking up all the rich, smoky goodness that comes with them. But that's not all - it's then finished in Tequila barrels, adding a whole new dimension of flavour to the mix. The result? A whisky that's as complex and intriguing as it is delicious. With notes of apple, vanilla, and bright citrus, this dram is like a tropical vacation in a glass. But wait, there's more! You'll also taste hints of pear, dried herbs, and even a touch of vegetal aloe from the Tequila casks. It's like travelling around the world without ever leaving your living room. Named after the Battalion San Patricos - a group of Irish men who fought in Mexico for the Mexican/American War in 1846. This is the world's first Irish whiskey to be finished in tequila and mezcal casks. Limited stock available in Australia Batch No.3 | Edition of 900 bottles worldwide. | Summer 2022 Tasting Notes: Aromas of honey, zesty orange, roast agave, toasted oak and walnuts fill the nose, complemented by notes of pineapple, pear, caramel, green grass, walnut, oak, pepper, sea salt and dried herbs throughout the palate and lingering in the finish.
