    • Description

The Ravensworth 2025 Regional Riesling is a dry, highly aromatic and textural expression that takes a thoughtful step away from the conventional. Sourced from four Canberra District vineyards including Ravensworth’s own Long Rail Gully site, it shows delicacy and lift alongside depth and quiet power. Floral and gently spicy aromatics lead into vibrant citrus, while the palate carries impressive flavour and shape, built through extended lees contact and maturation across ceramic eggs, concrete and large format foudre. The result is a layered, savoury edged Riesling with balance, energy and longevity, shaped by a warm, early vintage and crafted for both immediate enjoyment and long term cellaring. Ideal with seafood such as scallops and molluscs, or surprisingly well suited to roast pork.

At the International Riesling Challenge in Canberra in 2012, Bryan Martin’s 2012 Ravensworth Riesling hit the jackpot, beating all comers to win the challenge. Hailed an amazing achievement for a small-production local wine in international company, Bryan's Rieslings have continued to wow judges for years raking in accolades!

Ravensworth has two vineyards in the area which constantly has cool nights and dry autumns with mild, harvest temperatures. Rosehill is a 7 hectare vineyard that has volcanic, granite soils and produces Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc. Martin Block produces Shiraz, Viognier, Marsanne and Sangiovese. All their wines are made from estate fruit grown on their own vineyards, producing 2000 cases each year.
