Description
Established in 1899, Champagne Pannier is a well-established high-quality producer already in 50 countries around the world, and United Cellars are so excited to be their exclusive partner in Australia.
They mature their wines in amazing 2km of limestone cellars that were carved over 200 years between the 12th to 14th Century. Their house symbol is an archer, after a 14th century carving found in their cellar, carved during the Hundred Years' War.
Despite winning awards and medals as well as some 90+ point scores, this House produces some of the most affordable Champagnes in Australia, whilst never compromising on quality.
This Vintage 2015 is a blend of 32% Chardonnay, 28% Pinot Noir, 40% Pinot Meunier. The wines of this preponderantly warm, dry year are finely balanced, structured, fresh, concentrated and meant for long ageing. A vintage similar to the spectacular 2002 in terms of ripeness and quality of fruit. A vintage year for all - with some growers claiming that 2015 is the best vintage since 1947.
