    • Description

Nuestra Soledad Mezcales showcases the unique terroir and distillation traditions of six different villages within the Valles Centrales (Central Valley) region of Oaxaca, Mexico. Each expression showcases the diversity of Mexico's most prevalent Agave varietal used for Mezcal production, Espadin.

This release is from the village of Santiago Matatlán, a village located in the Municipality of Tlacolula de Matamoros, located in the east of the Valles Centrales Region of Oaxaca. 100% Espadin, harvested at an altitude of between 5,500 and 5,900 feet in a mountain canyon, growing among an abundance of wild Tepeztate, Tobala, and Coyote.

This Mezcal is relatively gentle, with a very subtle smokiness, and much more prominent tropical fruit note on the nose. The palate is balanced, with sweet agave spice, a herbaceous body and a lengthy finish. Perfect for getting into Mezcal.
