A prestigious wine estate founded in the 17th century in the Bordeaux region. Located south of the medieval city of Saint-Émilion, Château Canon-La-Gaffelière has been under the direction of Stephen von Neipperg since 1983. Complex herby, floral and fruity nose. A mix of blue/black and red fruits, some spice and game. Good weight and fruity intensity, this is fleshy, silky and voluminous, notably long with very fine-grained tannins. Stylish.

    Chateau Canon

“At its best, Canon is a splendidly rich, deep and concentrated wine, muscular and full-bodied and when mature, richly fruity, cedary and often magnificent. It remains a mystery why this wine is not better known, because Canon has certainly been one of the top three or four St-Émilions during the decade of the 1980s…” — Robert Parker
