92 Points, Ken Gargett, " a really impressive Adelaide Hills Savvy from a vintage that continues to impress"

Excellent Value Sauvignon Blanc

An aromatic wine with great citrus, tropical, snow pea and nettle aromas, finishing crisp and light with refreshing acidity.

Tasting Notes

She's cosmic....welcome to the playlist of our wines that rock this finely balanced, vibrant cosmic beauty of a Savvy. She's light and lifted, deliciously dry on the finish and full of all those lovely grassy, herbaceous and light tropical notes that we love in our Savvy B's! She will transport you to another place...let's hope that's one with a beach side view and a plate of blue swimmer crab cakes.

Critic Scores

Nifty label on a really impressive Adelaide Hills Savvy from a vintage that continues to impress. The colour is simply as pale as water. There are pleasing aromatics here with spices, herbs, tropical notes, passionfruit and a hint of rockmelon. Lovers of good Savvy will adore this. A sweet core of passionfruit and mango emerges on the palate and there is juicy acidity and impressive length. For drinking over the next three to four years.

Fresh and bright, the fragrant bouquet shows green rockmelon, Gala apple, lemon zest, and white-flower aromas, followed by a juicy palate with a lively mouthfeel and delicate texture. It's vibrant and flavoursome, making it fabulously drinkable

About this Wine

South Australia

If you like Australian wine, then you probably like South Australia wine. The rich reds produced there put Australia on the wine-making map of the world. With over 40% of the countries vineyards, South Australia can rightfully call itself the wine state.

Wines are produced in several regions throughout the state, though many are naturally grouped together, like Barossa and Eden Valleys, only 15 minutes apart. They include such regions as Barossa Valley, Clare Valley, Eden Valley, Coonawarra, Adelaide Hills, Kangaroo Island, Langhorne Creek, The Limestone Coast, McLaren Vale and Wrattonbully to name but a few!

Barossa Valley boasts some of the oldest vines in Australia dating back to 1843 and produces some of the world's finest Shiraz, whilst the 'terra rossa' soils of Coonawarra is most suited to producing outstanding Cabernet Sauvignons. If you're a fan of Riesling, Clare Valley is a great place to explore and for a Maritime climate not dissimilar to parts of the Italian coastline, seek out the wines from McLaren Vale.
