Tenjaku Blended Japanese Whisky is a blend of grain and malt whiskies produced in Yamanashi Prefecture using soft volcanic spring water drawn from 250 metres below the surface. The blended expression brings together whisky components aged from three to six years — combining the lightness of grain whisky with the depth of malt whisky — in the Japanese tradition of meticulous blending to achieve a clean, consistent, and approachable character. Master distiller Kenji Watanabe oversees the blending process, targeting a profile of soft cereal sweetness, light vanilla, and delicate floral notes suited to a wide range of drinking styles including on the rocks or in highball cocktails. Bottled at 40% ABV.

Tenjaku is produced by Minami Alps Wine & Beverage Co., Ltd. and was introduced to international markets in 2020. 'Tenjaku' translates loosely from Japanese as 'paradise bird' — a reference to the crane, a symbol of longevity and good fortune in Japanese culture.
