Tasting Notes

Whisky of Voodoo is a series of Small Batch, exquisitely crafted whiskies from 2026 Independent Bottler of the Year - Brave New Spirits. Each release explores a different distillery or region, and a different type of cask maturation, resulting in bold and interesting flavours outside the usual.

This Lowland Blend is a combination of two distilleries - Cameronbridge and North British, aged for 14 Years in an ex-St Emilion Grand Cru Wine Cask & an ex-Sherry Barrel.

Grain Whisky has become more and more popular in recent years, as a value-heavy option for Scotch whisky enthusiasts seeking to try something new. This style is lighter, and sweeter than a typical Single Malt - making it a great choice for Bourbon fans looking to cross the Atlantic for a wee dram.

The Coven of the Red Veil soaks your glass in the crimson flavours pulled from the St Emilion & Jerez Sherry Oak, as if inviting you into the inner sanctum of a mystic order dedicated entirely to the maturation of good spirits.

On the nose, citrus zest, pomegranate and gooseberry, with a subtle herbaceous tone reminiscent of thyme, thistle, honey and caramelised fruits.

On the palate, compote of ripe fruits, tomato skin, marmalade, shortbreak cookies and a hint of bourbon-like sweet corn notes.

On the finish, dry, with a medium finish. The sweetness fades into a gentle saline note, Scottish bagpipes in the background of a road-trip through the Spanish & French coastline.
