Independent Bottler of the Year Brave New Spirits has created a series of Single Malts (and blends!) that aim to bring whisky fans something bold & flavourful with each new release. Every bottle is small-batch or single cask, aged in either ex-Bourbon or ex-Sherry barrels.
This 10 Year Old Glenrothes is a Halloween Release from Brave New Spirits. When this Sherry Cask produced a rather unsettling 666 bottles, the team at the warehouse knew what they had to do, holding this delicious Glenrothes as a dedicated festive release.
This single cask is exceptionally dark, but the flavour profile is far more balanced than you might expect. Amontillado Sherry brings a lightness to the otherwise deep baking spice flavours the distillery is known for.
