Outstanding Melon de Bourgogne

Very fresh with expressive white pear fruit, both tight and supple pallet, this 2022 is another beautiful wine showing pretty herbal, citrus, and white fruit aromas.

    • Description

Domaine de la Combe Reserve Personelle Muscadet Sèvre et Maine Sur Lie 2022. Light gold in colour and with a delicate fennel nose. Lightly mineral with yellow apple fruit and gentle texture. The old vine fruit adds depth and mineral complexity to this fresh, savoury wine.

Pierre-Henri Gadais was born into a Loire Valley winemaking family. Following studies and experience in France and overseas, Pierre-Henri took over the new family Domaine in Saint-Fiacre in 2016, within the Muscadet Sèvre et Maine Sur Lie AOC. Pierre-Henri is focused on quality cuvées and the enhancement of the terroir, and achieved Organic Certification in late 2021. The wines are wild fermented in stainless steel, with minimal sulphur at bottling, and no malolactic fermentation.
