The project of Maynard James Keenan, frontman of the band Tool, this blend comes from the high altitude Eliphante block (3400ft) in Yavapai County, Arizona. Aged 18 months in French cask and puncheon, the Anubis shows great power and structure. The nose is full of black fruits, fresh, ripe and stewed, giving off aromas of a berry cobbler. The palate is full and generous, with intense black and red fruit, plush texture and ripe tannins. Enjoy with a some rich, slow cooked beef or pork.
