From the outset, the Cabernet Sauvignon asserts its leadership role… with enthusiasm and intensity, revealing nuances of eucalyptus, raspberries, and licorice. It's clearly pleased to be there, judging by the positive messages! On the palate, the wine is distinguished by its juicy and linear character. It's muscular, or rather sculpted, with fleshy, but not overly firm, tannins that are perfectly balanced with a crisp, yet not excessive, acidity. Everything is coherent, with an evident concern for harmony, without erasing the specific characteristics of Pauillac. A Duhart-Milon that isn't afraid to take risks and expresses itself with a confidence worthy of great wines. Bravo to the teams who were attentive and contributed to this very convincing result. In 2025, Château Duhart-Milon takes on the presence of a gracious young prince, noble by nature yet always open in gesture. Without even swirling the glass, a sense of upward energy already rises from within, a kind of youthful vitality rarely seen in this wine. Layers of bayberry and sour jujube emerge one after another, while a soft thread of sandalwood moves quietly among them, like a passing breeze that clears the senses and opens onto a landscape of brightness and space. Although the tannins are abundant, the impression on entry remains fresh and fluid, reminiscent of herbal tea, and as the tasting continues, a quiet sense of ease naturally follows. - 94 to 96 Points -Alexandre Ma

Subtle and refined even in the context of the vintage, with a lovely aromatic presence, very dark berry fruited and very Duhart, exactly as I expect, with that signature cool and here almost haunting and ethereal beauty. Supple, tender, cool at the core, spherical in form and radiant but relaxed and totally harmonious. Neither solar nor austere, this dances the line between the two. There's great purity and the most gracious of tannins. The engagement of those tannins is striking as is the energy imparted, with the pinch and grip crafting a lovely fantail on the finish. Fragrant blackcurrants and dried herbs on the nose. Really succulent and grippy straight away, immediately so charming and soft, almost creamy with a touch of powdery tannins – but such depth and concentration of fruit – ripe but still cool, you get flesh but freshness too. Such great construction – nothing over the top. There’s fleshy tannins, round mouthfeel but such elegance and refinement with the vein of bright, tangy, driving acidity that just carries the overall expression. So long. A blend of 73% Cabernet Sauvignon and 27% Merlot, the 2025 Duhart-Milon is a lovely classic in the making, offering up notes of wild blueberries, cassis, rose petals and orange zest, followed by a medium- to full-bodied, pure and polished palate that's lively, harmonious and suave.
