Beyond the intensity, it is the ability of this bouquet to reveal the personality of Carmes from the first seconds and to immediately call to my memory very great bottles, like the 1949 for example, with the obvious nature of the terroir which places itself before the grape varieties and the people who vinified it. It is a place that expresses itself, irrefutably. The notes of black cherries combine with perfumes of peonies, roasting, blackcurrant, orange peel, malt and peppermint. The slightly creamy attack announces a methodical wine, which reveals itself progressively.
