Coriole is a family estate in McLaren Vale, South Australia, founded by the Lloyd family in 1967 and now run by second and third generations. The property sits on the higher, cooler slopes of the region, on a mix of ironstone, clay and sandy loam soils well suited to Mediterranean varieties. Chenin Blanc has a long history at Coriole, retained from early plantings when many growers pulled it out, and the estate treats it as a serious textural white. Fruit for the 2025 comes from mature McLaren Vale vines farmed with sustainability in mind. The 2025 Chenin Blanc is built for freshness and texture rather than overt oak.
