Croissants, toasted sourdough, white pears, acacia and lemon meringue pie. Salty almond notes on the palate. Deliciously saline and creamy, with silky bubbles and a gently toasty finish. 100% chardonnay from Mesnil, Avize and Oger.

The difference between the vintage and NV Blanc de Blancs is simply more time on lees. They’re effectively the same wines. This is from 2002 base. Refined, toasty, lemony nose is very stylish. The palate shows great concentration and refinement with fresh, tight, lemony fruit and toasty, herby notes. Tight knit. Lovely.

This wine has all the attributes, with crisp apple and mineral texture that is tightly prominent. This is a fine wine, just hinting at toastiness. Based at the Cote des Blancs, the Champagne home of Chardonnay, it's logical that this producer should make a fine Blanc de Blancs.
