Once again there is first-rate complexity to the cool and well-layered array of soft floral-inflect aromas of red berries, earth and a discreet whiff of tea. I very much like the sense of underlying tension on the supple and relatively refined middle weight flavors thanks to the fine-grained tannins that shape the balanced and harmonious finish. This sleek beauty should amply reward mid-term cellaring.

Good medium red. Tight, pure aromas of dark raspberry, black cherry, licorice and minerals. Rather compact in the early going, showing little easy sweetness to the flavors of dark fruits, licorice, crushed rock and wild herbs accented by black pepper. Méo told me that this wine was previously more approachable than the Boudots but today it's in a shell. Will extended bottle aging bring more sweetness?

Impressive for the fruit purity, this red exudes black currant, cherry, raspberry and floral aromas and flavors. Well-balanced and firm, with a chalky sensation on the lingering finish. Shows fine potential. Best from 2022 through 2043
