Tasting Notes
This is the third harvest for this exciting new expansion in Gevrey for the team & with the experience of working Clos de Beze since 1994 Yannick & the team have a good understanding of the terroir. The plot is one of the largest monopoles in the Cotes de Nuits and therefore two bottlings are produced , the Vielle Vignes comes from the area with more direct exposure to the sun and produces a more robust and fruit forward expression. The vineyard was exposed to a serious hailstorm in June so rigorous hand sorting was undertaken to ensure only the cleanest fruit made it to the winery.
