Sourced entirely from old vines (45+ years) in 'Champ Perrier', a single vineyard sitting immediately adjacent to Puligny-Montrachet and directly below Meursault village-level sites.

The 2023 release is beautifully multi-dimensional—offering a creamy, silky, and gourmand palate weight that is masterfully reined in by a laser-focused limestone energy.

Meticulously farmed using organic methods and fermented with indigenous yeasts; the extended aging on fine lees imparts a level of intellectual complexity rarely found at this classification.

Tasting Notes

For devotees of high-end Côte de Beaune Whites, Domaine Tessier’s 2023 Bourgogne Blanc 'Champ Perrier' offers the ultimate "insider" terroir shortcut. While legally classified as a regional Bourgogne Blanc, this wine is famously sourced from a single, 0.3-hectare lieu-dit positioned right on the Meursault-Puligny border, sitting directly below the prestigious climat of Corvée des Vignes. Managed by the fiercely meticulous Arnaud Tessier and his partner Catherine, the estate is widely regarded as a rising star of Meursault. Their organic viticulture and non-interventionalist cellar work translate here into a wine that punches well into Village-level weight and complexity.

The 2023 vintage effortlessly balances the signatures of its noble neighbors. It opens with an aristocratic bouquet of fresh pears, white stone fruits, wild blossoms, and raw almonds, accented by a seductive hint of freshly churned butter and wet limestone. Aged for 12 months in barrel (with a highly disciplined 10% new oak) followed by 6 months in stainless steel, the palate feels deeply gourmand and satiny, yet remains brilliantly chiseled. A core of vibrant, driving acidity and salty minerality slices through the wine's rich, silky texture, delivering an incredibly persistent, grand-veined finish that mocks its humble label.
