Gaia Wines was founded in 1994 by Yiannis Paraskevopoulos, and Leon Karatsalos both of whom had gained their education and experience in France and Austria.

They are a great example of the globalised nature of the wine industry, traveling and of gaining knowledge and experience. With Greece home to a truly ancient society, that traversed the known world, these modern winemakers share that same sense of intellectual curiosity.

With vineyards and wineries in 2 distinct regions; Santorini and Nemea, Yiannis and Leon aim for the perfect harmony between terroir and climate in the production of their indigenous varietal wines; Assyritiko, and Agiorgitiko.

This lively, dry white wine has an intensely floral and fruity nose, with hints of rose petal and spice. A refreshing wine, with a crisp acidity and flavorful finish.
