Grown at the Heifer Station vineyard on the undulating slopes of Mt Canobolas, the Shiraz vines are planted at an elevation of 860 to 900 metres. Established in 1999, the Shiraz vineyard spans 3.8 hectares of the estate’s 25 hectares under vine, helping create a wine with distinctive cool-climate freshness and balance.

Bright berry aromas lead to a refined palate of succulent red and dark fruits, subtle savoury spice and gently peppery notes. Fine-grained tannins provide polished structure, while the medium-bodied finish is fresh, smooth and lingering.
