Wonderfully composed and classically expressed, the wine shows sweet cherry, fine leather, dried flower, star anise, and toasted nut aromas on the nose, followed by a beautifully weighted palate offering refined texture backed by finely infused tannins, making it firm and bold, while remaining harmonious and lingering. At its best: now to 2033.

The 2018 Barolo San Lorenzo di Verduno has a very pleasing linear quality that is reinforced by red berry aromas, dried blueberry, crushed flint or granite, and a bouquet of fresh blue flowers and violets. The wine is fermented in steel vats and aged in tonneaux. Only 3,300 bottles were produced.
