Critic Scores

From the Braemore Vineyard planted in the late ’60s on alluvial sandy soil. Hand picked, whole-bunch pressed, only free-run juice used. Glorious 10-year-old wine, the purity is almost painful so intense is it, finesse on the highest scale, lemon zest, Granny Smith apple; acidity perfect.

Light yellow hue, youthful for its years, with a very appealing nose of lemon and lemongrass with the merest overlay of lightly browned toast. It's also charming in the mouth, with lovely fruit and softness, refinement and attractively maturing lemony flavours. Line and length are impeccable.

Montelimar, lime, flint and perfume. Soft, fine powdery texture, beautiful pure acidity, smoothness and grace. It flies. Delightful.
