Tasting Notes
A medium to dark red in the glass with vibrant purple hues, this wine opens with lifted aromatics of ripe red berries, layered with subtle violet florals and a hint of confectionary lift.
The palate is generous yet composed, showing plum skin and blue fruit at its core, supported by fine cocoa laced tannins. There is a natural brightness and energy throughout, with flavours building into a persistent finish of raspberry coulis and gentle spice. The balance of richness and freshness gives the wine both immediate appeal and structure for further development.
Crafted from fruit sourced across premium sites in Wilyabrup and Yallingup, the wine was fermented on skins and matured in French oak barriques, adding texture and complexity without overshadowing the fruit. A cooler, later vintage allowed for extended ripening, resulting in excellent flavour development and refined tannin integration.
