Bright, white gold with merest hint of pale straw. Quite pungent with the rich, peachy and tropical fruit aromas typical of the variety. There’s a hint of butterscotch and some vanillin characters from the oak. Has a silky palate with good weight of mouth filling, fresh melon fruits, complemented and complexed by the light touch of oak. The wine’s upfront, sweet fruit characters are beautifully balanced by its fresh, zingy acidity; this acidity then contributing to its good palate length. A delicious, well flavoured Chardonnay for drinking now and over the next year or so. A great match with all foods!
