The production technique is truly exceptional: after maturation, the whisky was disgorged into a vat and left undisturbed for three days to allow sediment to settle naturally. Carefully calculated water was then slowly dripped over 36 hours to adjust the strength to 60% ABV without agitating the sediment. This meticulous method ensures the whisky remains totally unfiltered, preserving all the natural oils and lipids typically lost in conventional filtration.

The result is a whisky that captures the essence of its cask ageing more authentically than most, delivering a full-textured, delightfully sweet profile that reflects its final days in the barrel. Bottling was done by a slow siphon from the top of the vat, ensuring clarity and purity with no unwanted sediment in the bottle.

Tasting notes reveal a nose bursting with blackberry compote, subtle cinnamon spice, and the inviting aroma of sweet confectionery and freshly baked fruit cake. On the palate, it is silky and sumptuous, unveiling layers of orange and ginger marmalade intertwined with dark chocolate ganache and honeyed figs.
