On the nose, there is a waft of menthol and fennel, followed by creamy vanilla, lemon sherbet, and soft wisps of charcoal smoke. The palate is vibrant for its age, opening with peppered citrus, smoked cream, and herbal tea, before giving way to richer notes of cocoa, resin, and soft medicinal peat. The finish is long and ethereal, gently smouldering with eucalyptus, anise, and a saline kiss from the sea.
