Yet Alinta marks a bold turn, introducing peat with intention rather than bravado. The name, drawn from Indigenous Australian meaning 'flame' or 'fire', signals this dram's spark - but its depth reveals Bladnoch's thoughtful craftsmanship .

This is the Lowlands taken to its smoky edge. Bladnoch's master distiller, Dr Nick Savage, married a peated malt spirit with ex‑bourbon and PX sherry casks, carefully balancing the elemental and the refined .

Bottled at 47% ABV, non‑chill filtered, with natural colour, Alinta is a statement - not of theatrical smoke but of smart, measured depth.

On the nose, smoky embers and orchard sweetness unite: campfire ash, golden syrup, orchard fruit, and charred oak meld with floral overtones and smoked honey. The smoke is rich yet gracious.
