In the late 1980s, six families of Riojan farmers Castillo Garcia, Galán Garijo, Gurría García, Marques Malumbres, Rivas Marques, and Ruiz Casas joined forces to establish Bodegas de Familia Burgo Viejo. Together, they oversee 200 hectares of vineyards, meticulously tended with age old wine growing traditions passed down through generations. This collective effort yields a diverse array of wines, harmonizing La Rioja's rich heritage with contemporary market preferences.
