    • Description

Chateau de Laubade is an agricultural and winegrowing estate located in Sorbets, in the Gers, in the heart of the finest Bas Armagnac terroir. The 105 hectares estate in a single block around the chateau, built in 1870, it has been owned by the Lesgourgues family for three generations. Today, Denis, assisted by his sister, Jeanne, and brother, Arnaud, continue their family’s constant striving for excellence, with the aim of producing the most outstanding Armagnacs. Appearance: Bright amber with golden hues. Nose: Aromas of ripe stone fruit, plum tart, citrus peel, vanilla pod, and soft pastry. Palate: Elegant and smooth with subtle spice, fruit compote, and sweet oak. Finish: Long and mouth-coating with lingering notes of citrus and dried apricot. Overall: A well-balanced VSOP with impressive depth for its age — equally at home as an aperitif or digestif.
