Established in 1990 by Roman Bratasiuk, Clarendon Hills swiftly rose to international prominence through its unwavering commitment to crafting single-vineyard Syrah that captures the distinct terroir of McLaren Vale.

Originating from some of the oldest and most esteemed vineyards in the McLaren Vale region, this 2015 vintage exemplifies the area’s unique Mediterranean climate. This Syrah reveals a complex bouquet of dark berries, black pepper, and delicate smoky undertones, elegantly layered and supported by a velvety tannin structure. The lingering finish signals impressive aging potential, making it a standout among premium Australian Syrah wines.

Highly regarded by collectors and critics, Clarendon Hill Syrah 2015 is sourced from a private cellar that guarantees exceptional provenance and quality. Critic Scores

Take the fine, elegant elements of the 2014, turn up the intensity and you've got the exceptional 2015 Domaine Clarendon Syrah. Herbal nuances of thyme and bay leaf accent blueberry fruit, while spice and licorice shadings linger on the rich, velvety finish.

About this Wine

Shiraz

Bold and full-bodied, Shiraz delivers rich dark fruit flavours of blackberry, plum, and black cherry, layered with black pepper, clove, and subtle smoke. Firm tannins and a velvety texture give it real structure, often rounded out by notes of chocolate and vanilla from oak ageing. A versatile pairing partner for grilled meats and hearty dishes, it's one of Australia's most planted red varieties

South Australia

If you like Australian wine, then you probably like South Australia wine. The rich reds produced there put Australia on the wine-making map of the world. With over 40% of the countries vineyards, South Australia can rightfully call itself the wine state.

Wines are produced in several regions throughout the state, though many are naturally grouped together, like Barossa and Eden Valleys, only 15 minutes apart. They include such regions as Barossa Valley, Clare Valley, Eden Valley, Coonawarra, Adelaide Hills, Kangaroo Island, Langhorne Creek, The Limestone Coast, McLaren Vale and Wrattonbully to name but a few!

Barossa Valley boasts some of the oldest vines in Australia dating back to 1843 and produces some of the world's finest Shiraz, whilst the 'terra rossa' soils of Coonawarra is most suited to producing outstanding Cabernet Sauvignons. If you're a fan of Riesling, Clare Valley is a great place to explore and for a Maritime climate not dissimilar to parts of the Italian coastline, seek out the wines from McLaren Vale.
