Domaine de Cabottes Masterclass Monday 19th October 2026 Sydney 6.00pm

United Cellars invites you to discover one of the most exciting new chapters in modern Burgundy: Domaine des Cabottes, presented by Alexandre Garandel, Ambassador for Artémis Domaines.

Created by Artémis Domaines following its acquisition of the historic Bouchard Père & Fils estate, Domaine des Cabottes brings together approximately 35 hectares of exceptional vineyards across the Côte de Beaune. Its holdings encompass some of Burgundy’s most celebrated Premier and Grand Cru terroirs, with a renewed focus on precision in the vineyard, individual climat expression and exceptional quality.

The 2023 vintage marks the inaugural release of Domaine des Cabottes, making this masterclass a rare opportunity to experience the domaine at the very beginning of its story, guided by Alexandre Garandel and seen through some of Burgundy’s greatest vineyards.

The tasting begins with Clos Saint-Landry Monopole Premier Cru 2023, before moving through an extraordinary sequence of white Burgundy. Meursault Genevrières Premier Cru 2023 leads into two of the Côte de Beaune’s great Chardonnay terroirs: Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru 2023 and the magnificent Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru 2023.

The second half of the masterclass turns to Pinot Noir and offers something particularly revealing: the opportunity to examine the transition from Bouchard Père & Fils to Domaine des Cabottes through wines from the same historic vineyards.

First comes one of Beaune’s most famous wines, Beaune Grèves Premier Cru “Vigne de l’Enfant Jésus”, with the inaugural Domaine des Cabottes 2023 tasted alongside the mature Bouchard Père & Fils 2010.

We conclude at Grand Cru level with Le Corton, comparing Domaine des Cabottes’ inaugural 2023 with Bouchard Père & Fils Le Corton Grand Cru 2020.

This is a masterclass that looks both backwards and forwards, exploring the extraordinary vineyard heritage associated with Bouchard Père & Fils while discovering how these same terroirs are being interpreted in the opening chapter of Domaine des Cabottes.
