Description
Situated in the heart of the Beaujolais, the Domaine de Croifolie is a family estate that has been in existence for three generations and covers 8 hectares.
All wines are produced from the Gamay Noir grape variety with white juice and are made in accordance with tradition. The work in the vineyard is carried out manually from pruning to the harvest where the grapes are picked by hand.
The vines from which this wine comes are on average 65 years old and come from granite soil.
VINIFICATION AND AGING Manual harvest. Traditional vinification, maceration for 10 to 15 days and aged in vats for 5 months.
TASTING
Color : intense purple. Nose : predominantly small black fruits. Mouth : round, fine tannins, good length. Keeping : 5 years. Pairing : it goes perfectly with cold meats, red meats and farmhouse goat's and cow's cheeses.
