    • Description

Pierre-Vincent Girardin, the 13th generation of a Burgundian winemaking family, founded his own domaine in 2017. Building on his father’s legacy and deep knowledge of the Côte de Beaune, he has quickly emerged as one of the region’s most exciting young talents, known for wines of clarity, precision, and elegance.

This Grand Cru bottling is sourced from prime, high-elevation parcels in Corton-Charlemagne, where chalky, limestone-rich soils impart tension and drive. The old vines yield low quantities of intensely concentrated fruit, resulting in a wine of both power and finesse.

Girardin employs organic farming and a minimalist philosophy in the cellar. The wine ferments and ages in custom-made 456-liter barrels (100% new oak) for 12 months, followed by 8 months in stainless steel to preserve purity. It is bottled unfined and unfiltered.

The result is a beautifully layered expression of Corton-Charlemagne—marked by ripe stone fruits, toasted grain and vanilla, and a deep, mineral spine—delivering both richness and precision, with the structure to evolve gracefully over time.
