From elevated Adelaide Hills sites, this Shiraz shows an inky black violet hue yet moves with surprising ease and fluidity. Aromas of dark cherry, game and lifted spice lead, underscored by a faint mineral edge.
The palate brings black and sour cherry, layered with exotic spice and a tactile pepperiness, with subtle blue fruit and a hint of cola in support. Medium bodied and finely structured, it carries freshness and line, finishing long with a gentle, savoury pucker and persistent spice.
