Description
The Glencairn Mixer Glass has been designed specifically to allow for the savouring of fine spirits over ice, mixed, or in cocktail form.
In 2001 Glencairn Crystal solved the problem of identifying the ideal glass for whisky. Designed by Raymond Davidson nearly 25 years earlier, its development involved pulling together the master blenders from the five largest whisky companies and asking them to perfect his initial design.
Originally developed in consultation with the Canadian whisky industry this rocks glass incorporates a tulip shape to enhance its nosing function.The tapered lip assists in directing the liquid to the tip of the tongue for the appreciation of the sweeter notes.
