Step into the rarefied world of House of Hazelwood, where decades of patience and the quiet stewardship of the Gordon family have created one of the most extraordinary private Scotch whisky collections in existence. On Friday 8th May 2026 at 6.00pm in Sydney, we invite you to an intimate masterclass that goes far beyond a traditional tasting. This is a rare opportunity to experience whisky as it was meant to be, aged without compromise and released only when truly ready.

Hosted by Phil Keene, Commercial Director of House of Hazelwood and a recognised authority in fine whisky, the evening offers a guided exploration through a line-up that speaks to both heritage and innovation. You will begin with Sunshine on Speyside 39 YO, a whisky of remarkable elegance and maturity, before moving into The Eight Grain 40YO, a fascinating and complex expression that challenges convention. The Tops 33YO delivers depth and structure drawn from extended ageing, while A Trail of Smoke 42 YO brings a more nuanced, lingering profile to close.

With strictly limited seats, this masterclass is designed for collectors, connoisseurs, and those looking to access something genuinely scarce. Expect insight, storytelling, and a level of detail that only comes from direct access to the custodians of these casks. This is not just a tasting, but a window into one of Scotland’s most tightly held whisky legacies.

The event refund policy will be updated approximately every 6 months. and is subject to change with 7 days notice.

All event tickets are sold on the basis of the following terms and conditions.

• Cancellations more than 7 days prior to the event; a full refund or credit available.
• Cancellations less than 7 days notice prior to the event; refunds or credits will only be given if we are able to re-sell the tickets. In the event we are unable to re sell tickets then it will result in a forfeit of the ticket value.
• In the circumstance that an event is canceled due to government-imposed restrictions, a full refund or credit will be given, where possible.
• Premium Events ($400 + per ticket): As these are limited ticket events, cancellation more than 14 days, a full refund or credit is available.
• Premium Events ($400 + per ticket): cancellation less than 14 days, refunds or credits will only be given if we are able to re-sell the tickets. In the event we are unable to re sell tickets then it will result in a forfeit of the ticket value.
• United Cellars requests all clients attending the event to provide full contact details, including dietary requirements.
