La Dame de Montrose 2010
Tasting Notes
La Dame de Montrose Saint-Estèphe 2010 is the second wine of Château Montrose, one of Bordeaux’s most distinguished estates, founded in 1815. Produced from the gravelly terroir of Saint-Estèphe, this refined Left Bank red reflects the château’s meticulous winemaking and celebrated heritage.
Rich yet approachable, this elegant Bordeaux red wine opens with expressive aromas and flavours of cassis, dark plum and cedar. Fine, polished tannins provide structure and balance, while the depth of the 2010 vintage allows the wine to deliver immediate appeal alongside graceful development in bottle.
A superb expression of Saint-Estèphe wine, La Dame de Montrose 2010 offers the pedigree of Château Montrose in an accessible and beautifully composed style. Its layered character pairs naturally with roast beef, lamb, braised dishes and other rich cuisine.
Sourced from a premium private cellar.
