The fruit is sourced from the Tasmar Valley, Coal River Valley and the Tasman Peninsula. This shows the tremendous potential for Tasmanian chardonnay. It has a slightly savoury and lightly toasty aroma with traces of creamy stone fruit and honeysuckle. Throw in some lifted touches of grapefruit and lemon zest with the subtle intrusion of roasted cashew and you get some idea of its complexity. The palate is immensely powerful yet delivers with a degree of restraint and poise. Traces of cumquat and lemon peel
