From the Nagano prefecture in Japan, Naganomeijo ("The famous brew of Nagano") is a producer with over 300 years of heritage. The brewery sits at the base of Mt Obasute, a location famous for the way moonlight reflects on the water surface of hundreds of terraced rice paddies.
The Junmai Daiginjo Tanada ‘la Grace is made with rice grown in the famous moon-reflecting rice paddies of Obasute, this is a sake driven by terroir.
A collaboration between local farmers, the local government, the Naganomeijo brewery and local artist Chihiro Koshi, the ‘la Grace’ is designed to be the perfect expression of the Nagano prefecture.
Daiginjo-style, brewed with the attitude of “More Rich, More Complex”. this is a beautiful and softly layered sake.
White peach, melon, and a gentle, earthy finish.
