Pietro Rinaldi Barbera d’Alba DOC Monpiano 2024
Pietro Rinaldi Barbera d’Alba DOC Monpiano 2024
Tasting Notes
A vibrant ruby red with purple reflections, this 100% Barbera opens with an intense and complex bouquet of fresh red berries layered with subtle spice and lifted balsamic nuances. Sourced from southwest-facing vineyards in Madonna di Como, where limestone and clay soils lend structure and finesse, the wine is both expressive and refined.
On the palate it is silky and beautifully balanced, combining bright, natural acidity with pure fruit clarity. Fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel and aged for 12 months in tank to preserve freshness, it shows energy and precision rather than oak influence. The finish is long and persistent, carried by refreshing acidity that makes it immediately appealing while offering complexity over the next five to six years.
A versatile food wine, it pairs effortlessly with roasted red or white meats and medium-aged cheeses, served ideally at 15–16°C.
