Textbook Chianti
A traditional styled blend of 95% Sangiovese and 5% Colorino, sourced from the Renzo Masi Estate in the heart of Chianti Rufina.
Intense, ruby red colour, extremely perfumed and aromatic nose, with fresh fruit (cherry and raspberry) and floral flavours and on the palate Renzo Masi Chianti Riserva is smooth and balanced, with medium body and silky texture.

Produced only in the years of the best harvests. Made from a selection of the best Sangiovese grapes from selected producers different Chianti areas
A nose of complex earthy spices and a more obvious oak character (16 months in 40% new French Barriques) speak of the quality of this wine despite it's agreeable price. On the palate there is morello cherry, black olive, fresh and lively acidity, chalky but yielding tannins and a lovely round finish. Hints of rustic earthiness, but overall very clean and modern in style.
